Panchang and festival dates

Times are calculated with astronomy formulas and open-source software for the place you choose. Small differences from printed panchangs (usually a minute or two) are normal. Festival dates follow common rules; local customs, temples and families can differ by a day. Check with your local priest or temple for rituals.

Astrology

Rashifal, birth charts, matchmaking, doshas and muhurat follow traditional Vedic astrology rules. They are beliefs and traditions, not proven science, and they do not predict the future with certainty. Different astrologers and schools give different results. Do not make health, legal, money, marriage or other important decisions based only on them.

Remedies (upay)

Remedies such as mantras, fasts, charity, colours and numbers are traditional practices shared for interest. We do not promise any result from them. They are not a treatment or cure for any illness and must never replace a doctor's care. We do not sell gemstones, yantras or remedies.

Scriptures and meanings

Scripture texts and translations come from public domain and openly licensed sources. Translations reflect their translators' views and their times, and old texts can contain errors. The word meanings in the floating dictionary are short and simplified. For deeper study, please learn from a qualified teacher.

Simple explanations, readings and answers

The Simplified book, personal readings and answers to questions are prepared by our software and checked by our team from the texts in the library and traditional rules. They are one possible interpretation, can be wrong or incomplete, and are not the view of any tradition or teacher. Always read the original passage they point to.

Tools and data we rely on

DeepDharma uses open-source software and public data made by others. Errors in them can carry into the app. We check what we can, but we cannot guarantee them.
